The Repair Cafe is free. Nobody gets paid. Any donations you leave on the day are split equally between the two causes below — a life-saving medical research charity, and the historic village church that gives us a home once a month.

No repair is charged for. Parts you need to buy are the only cost. Everything else — the time, the tools, the tea — is given freely by our volunteers, and every penny donated goes straight to the two causes above.
